Bloomington, Ill., December 30, 2009 – For the seventh year, State Farm® Insurance Companies will accept nominations for the Embrace Life® Awards on Jan. 1. Thirteen individuals will be honored for making a difference after experiencing loss in their lives.
A third of Americans – 32 percent – don’t have life insurance and the Embrace Life Awards turn a spotlight on the need for life insurance. The program welcomes nominations for both men and women who have lost a spouse, guardian or parent, and renewed their lives and inspired others through their perseverance.
Participants are invited to nominate an individual by submitting an essay (of no more than 1,000 words) between January 1, 2010 and March 1, 2010. Entrants are not limited to the number of people they can nominate and can also nominate themselves. The honorees each receive $10,000.
