Albert Pujols on Deck to Drive One Deep in the State Farm® "CALL YOUR SHOT" Sweepstakes

BLOOMINGTON, Ill., (May 11, 2009) – Baseball fans of all ages dream of stepping up to the plate, hearing the roar of the crowd, staring a pitcher down and pointing to the outfield just before hitting a memorable home run. State Farm and Major League Baseball® are offering one lucky fan a once in a lifetime opportunity with Call Your Shot. Aim for the Arch -- a chance to call an historic home run shot for MLB All-Star Albert Pujols prior to the start of the 2009 State Farm® Home Run Derby® at Busch Stadium™.

In addition to a trip for four to the All-Star Game and the State Farm® Home Run Derby, the grand prize winner of Call Your Shot. Aim for the Arch will stand at home plate in Busch Stadium and attempt to call a memorable home run shot by Pujols prior to the start of the State Farm Home Run Derby on July 13. All of the State Farm® Home Run Derby festivities will be broadcast live on ESPN at 8 p.m. EDT.

“A game winning hit, pitching a no-hitter or a walk-off home run in Game 7 of the World Series – baseball has a history of creating big moments,” said Mark Gibson, Assistant Vice President of Advertising for State Farm. “State Farm is all about being there for life’s big moments. And giving fans the chance to participate in the State Farm® Home Run Derby – to win the ultimate baseball experience – is certainly one of those moments.”

If Pujols connects and hits the called shot, the contest winner also will take home a 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid, as well as an MLB Fan Room that includes a 65” Sharp Aquos TV, two Dream seats, Sharp sound Bar, and Pepsi products to stock the room.

Topping it all off is a chance to throw out a ceremonial first pitch prior to a 2009 World Series Game. Win or lose, the fan will take home memories of a once in a lifetime baseball experience from Busch Stadium and the State Farm® Home Run Derby.
